may 2002 saw the completion of an architectural commission for edinburgh

university situated in the newly built medical school at little france edinburgh

the commission comprises of one large screen of cast glass holding sixty

separate elements of glass tiles

all tiles are cast with blown elements trapped within each one on the theme of

 cells and cell division
